Man Hospitalized after Hit and Run on Syracuse's Westside

Syracuse, N.Y. – Police are now on the prowl for a pickup truck driver that sent a Syracuse man to the hospital after a hit and run crash.

Police say 50-year-old Paul Johnson was crossing at the intersection of Merriman Avenue and Oswego Street yesterday about 2:30 p.m. Sunday when a red Dodge pickup hit him. 

The truck was found and impounded by police. 

Johnson is expected to survive.
