Oasis Frontman Liam Gallagher Denied Cigarettes Due To Lack Of ID

By John Belaska

The law is apparently the law in New York City, even if you're a rock star.  Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher took to Twitter over the weekend to rage that he was denied cigarettes at a convenience store because he didn't have any ID on him.

He noted with the help of a well place curse word that he's 44 years old, asking, "Has the world gone mad?"  Some of his fans felt he definitely should have been allowed to buy the smokes anyway, while others said he should take it as a compliment that he still gets carded.
