A christening is supposed to be a serious, formal celebration, but one Irish dad in charge of invitations for his daughter's decided to go a different route... and he quickly got in trouble for it.
Hahahaha my cousin posted this for his daughter's Christening but clearly got a bollocking from either his girlfriend or his Mam over it pic.twitter.com/5tBSHqJrX2

Instead of calling it a Christening, the proud father's Facebook invites said it was an exorcism, and he used a photo of his newborn, Saoirse, where the pupils aren't in her eyes. He also joked about the food, cake and beer that would be had after the ceremony.
That version of the invite didn't last too long and clearly someone gave the dad an earful because soon after, the invitation was edited to reflect how it is a Christening, and it now features a better photo of the little girl. The event description also now reads Saoirse will "get christened in a very serious and real ceremony."
No word on if Saoirse's demons will still be expelled at the event.
