The White House is undergoing some renovations this month while President Trump is in New Jersey. The construction is a combination of the traditional renovations that occur in The Oval Office during a presidential turnover but The House is also getting some larger-scale updates.

Construction crews have been installing a new granite curb in front of the Oval Office and preparing new carpets to cover the famous office.

The Government Services Administration is managing the renovation, which includes a replacement of the 27-year-old heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the house.

The Oval Office usually undergoes a small renovation to reflect the president's personal taste.

A rare site...The Oval Office completely empty as it is updated and renovated.

For context...here is The Oval Office in 2010 after Obama was elected.
