The report released Monday shows Woods had apparently taken painkillers with brand names Vicodin and Dilaudid and sleep and anxiety drugs with brand names Xanax and Ambien, reports ESPN. Traces of THC were also found in his system, reports CNN.
In a statement Monday, Woods—who underwent his fourth back surgery in April—said he "had been trying on my own to treat my back pain and a sleep disorder, including insomnia, but I realize now it was a mistake to do this without medical assistance."
