British Man Saves Pet Tortoise Using Mouth To Mouth

A British pet owner used his head literally to save his pet tortoise. John Fletcher found his 45-year-old tortoise Freda at the bottom of his garden pond Saturday limp and looking dead. To revive the lifeless tortoise, the Gloucester man used CPR giving his pet mouth to mouth resuscitation.  Fletcher thinks the tortoise was in the pond for more than an hour. After a few short blows into the tortoise's mouth a little water came out. 

There was movement and after a sigh of relief from Fletcher, Freda started breathing again.
