Suspicious Package Forces Lockdown At White House

UPDATE:  The White House lockdown is being lifted following an investigation of an unattended package near the North Fence of the White House complex. Agents and DC police investigated the package and have given the all clear. 

The White is on lockdown for an investigation into a reported unattended package near the North Fence of the White House complex.  The Secret Service and DC Police are on the scene.  

All press was cleared from the White House North Lawn by the Secret Service, which told reporters and construction crews to go inside immediately.  Several areas near the White House were also evacuated.  President Trump is on his way to Arizona for a campaign rally tonight in Phoenix.
