Dr. Sebastian Gorka, former Deputy Assistant to the President, stopped by ‘America Now’ on Monday night to talk with Buck over his recent decision to leave the White House, saying “other voices have started to be ascendant” within the Trump administration in recent months.
“The news came in late Friday, right after the show, I saw that our friend Doctor Sebastian Gorka had decided that it was time to move on to some other pressing opportunities,” said Buck. “Alright Doctor Gorka, what happened?”
“It’s very simple. I came into the administration as a politically commissioned officer, a deputy assistant working directly with Steve Bannon, the chief strategist,” said the former Presidential adviser. “We came aboard to make the ‘MAGA’ vision a reality, especially in the field of national security.”
“In recent months, other voices have started to be ascendant within the White House,” he added. “I was on vacation and I read the text of the President’s speech on Afghanistan, and I realized that there are other influences, other tendencies; no mentioning of radical Islam, no mention of radical Islamic terrorism in that speech.”
“So, I decided there are certain limitations to what I could do inside the White House; those do not exist on the outside. I tendered my resignation with General Kelly […] on Friday and gave my letter of resignation,” said Gorka.
“On the issue of removing ‘radical Islam’ from a speech, can you tell us where that comes from?” asked Buck. “Who thinks that ‘radical Islam’ should not be spoken of?”
“A lot of it has to do with holdover individuals; people that the bureaucracy inherited. It’s very important that everybody understands the January 20th transition was a hostile takeover. The victory on November 8th was an insurgent victory,” Gorka added.
