Taylor Swift is proving to be the gift that keeps on giving as she surprised fans on Saturday night (September 2) with a clip of a new song called "Ready For It," which premiered during the broadcast of the Alabama vs Florida State college game.
Used after the pre-game show, which took place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, “Ready For It” played to surprised fans. On the track, Swift departs the aggression from "Look What You Made Me Do" and takes a turn to bombastic pop sounds.
It’s the latest gift that the pop star has blessed her Swifties with in recent days. It was just earlier this week when her video for pop earworm debuted during the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. Less than 24 hours since the release, the Joseph Khan-directed clip had already broken Adele's record for the most-watched music video in its 24 hour debut window in VEVO history. "Look What You Made Me Do" is the lead single off her sixth studio album, reputation, which is set to drop November 10. Five separate versions of the LP will be available, with each containing exclusive double-sided poster with new art of Swift. If you head over to Target, you'll also be able to purchase a special-edition of the LP with 70 pages of exclusive content.
