Kansas City Neighbors Warned To Beware Of Swooping Owls

Warning signs are out in one Kansas City neighborhood to be on the lookout for aggressive owls.  That's after owls swooped down on Brookside neighborhood residents out for a walk.  Residents say they began encountering problems with owls swooping down on them last year.  The birds and their bad attitudes seem to have returned, targeting joggers and walkers in recent weeks.   Some residents say instead of looking down, they're now looking up to see if an owl may be approaching. 

 Some explanations for the dive-bombing owls may be they're protecting their young.
