Demi Lovato Lets Her Voice Shine Bright On 'You Don't Do It For Me Anymore'

Demi Lovato has learned from her mistakes and moved on from a former lover in her new song, "You Don't Do It For Me Anymore," which is the latest buzz track off her new album, Tell Me You Love Me.

"You Don't Do It For Me Anymore" dropped on Friday (September 8) and is a refreshing serving from Lovato. As one of the more vocally talented ladies in her pop class, the 25-year-old offers her vocals in a way that's emotional and powerful, but without some of the over-the-top dramatics that typically come with a Lovato ballad. "I won't fall for your games/ So don't hate me when I say/That you don't do it for me anymore/ No, you don't do it for me anymore," she sings during the Jonas Jeberg and Anton Kuhl-produced hook.

In August, Demi told MTV News that she was nervous to release of one her upcoming tracks because fans will likely know who it's about. "Sometimes you put out music that you just feel like everyone is going to know who it's about," Lovato admitted. "Headlines are going to come out of it, and it's like, when you write a song, you're just being vulnerable, and you're just writing about something that's inspiring you, so all the baggage that comes with it is what I'm kind of nervous about."
