Glenn Calls Out Steve Bannon’s ‘Blind Faith’ in Trump With This Analogy

In an interview with “60 Minutes,” former White House adviser Steve Bannon vowed that he would continue to help President Donald Trump as much as possible.

“I’m going to be his wing man outside for the entire time to protect him,” Bannon said. “Our purpose is to support Donald Trump.”

His comments came after Trump sided with Democrats on a deal to continue funding the government along with spending billions on hurricane relief efforts. Despite conservative solutions offered by Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), Trump teamed up with Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to sponsor their plan for spending.

“Charisma over core values always falls short,” Glenn said on radio Tuesday. He compared Bannon’s trust in Trump to the people who had “blind faith” in President Barack Obama despite his failures.

Glenn had a message of hope for the people who choose principles over politics.

“We’re going to make it,” he said. “I want you to hear clearly: We’re going to.”
