While alcohol consumption may seem like an unavoidable fixture in the entertainment world, not everyone chooses to imbibe. From Zendaya to Lucy Hale to Kendrick Lamar, we compiled a list of celebrities who have consciously decided not to drink.

Jennifer Lopez“I think that ruins your skin. Of course, during celebratory toasts, everybody’s like, ‘You can’t toast with water!’ So I’ll toast with alcohol and just take a sip,” JLo told InStyle.
Demi LovatoDemi has spoken at length about her battle with drug and alcohol addiction and — following a stint in rehab — is now living a sober life. "I had to learn the hard way that I can't do parties anymore," she told Refinery29. "Some people can go out and not be triggered, but that's not the case for me."

MacklemoreAfter a lengthy struggle with alcohol, Macklemore quit drinking at the age of 25. He told MTV, “The thing that pulled me back was knowing that I wanted to be a musician, and that if I wanted to do this I had to get sober.”
Kendrick LamarA GQ cover story revealed Kendrick doesn’t drink.
Zendaya”Just because I'm now the legal drinking age, doesn't mean I'm going to start throwing 'em back. I don't plan to start drinking," Zendaya wrote on her website. "My life is too stressful to need help with relaxing by having a cocktail. This industry is way too nuts for me to not be in control of myself and my decisions, so I just don't want to introduce drinking!"
LogicLogic reportedly told the Village Voice he looked to his parents — both were addicts — for an example of “what not to do,” as far as drugs and alcohol are concerned. While he did imbibe at one point, he says he’s now sober.

Brandon FlowersAccording to Contact Music, The Killers frontman said, ''I have been drunk. I haven't drank in five or six years. And I will probably never be drunk again.''
