Julia Michaels' Thoughts on 'What Happens Vegas, Stays In Vegas' (VIDEO)

Songwriter extraordinaire Julia Michaels has had an incredible year. The 23-year-old went from writing many of the biggest hits on the radio, to having her own music become some of the biggest hits on the radio. Julia's single "Issues," produced by Benny Blanco and Stargate, became a multi-platinum hit around the world. 

Among all of the success surrounding "Issues," Julia released her debut "mini album," as she refers to the project as, Nervous System, and has performed at a few major awards shows. But next week, Julia will be taking the stage in Las Vegas during the Daytime Village presented by Capital One at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, alongside a lineup of talented artists like Bebe Rexha, Halsey, Migos, Khalid, Bleachers, and more.

In anticipation of her upcoming performance, we introduced Julia to the iHeartRadio Party Wheel. After giving the wheel a few spins, Julia revealed her pre-performance ritual, her thoughts on the phrase "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas," her favorite song she's ever written for another artist, and more.

"I panic, and then I try to breathe, and then I take a nap from all the anxiety, and then I panic a little more, and then I perform."
