Drake Mourns The Loss Of Friend & OVO Affiliate Fif After Shooting

Drake is mourning the loss of his close friend and OVO Sound affiliate Anthony "Fif" Soares.

According to multiple reports, Soares was approached by two men when he entered a building in Toronto, Canada and gunned down in cold blood. He was quickly rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Soares was only 33 years old. 

Taking to Instagram, Drake remembered his friend. "RIP to one of our family members...our brother..." the recording artist said. "I still can't even believe this morning was real. It was a honor to have shared years together and I will always keep your memory alive 😔Forever Fif."
