Mexican News Anchor Was Broadcasting Live When Quake Hit

"Right now that's the earthquake alarm going off," Business Insider quotes Enrique Campos as saying.

"This is not a drill." The anchor for Mexico's Foro TV was in the middle of a live broadcast from the studio in Mexico City when a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck Tuesday afternoon, Time reports. "You all already know what you have to do now: Stay calm, and evacuate immediately. I'm going to get up and evacuate," Campos tells the audience.

Video shows the anchor leaving the studio as cameras and equipment swing wildly. The earthquake was Mexico's strongest in more than 30 years and killed at least 248 people.
