North Korea Say US Has 'Declared War on Our Country'

In the escalating war of words between the United States and North Korea, the latter just fired a verbal bomb by way of Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho. 

The Independent quotes the official as telling reporters in New York on Monday that "the whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country. 

Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to [take] countermeasures, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country."
