NBA Player Kelly Oubre Hits Back At The Lesbian Claims

Washington Wizards' forward Kelly Oubre Jr. is not a lesbian and he's speaking out on the social media buzz in a new podcast, which was shared on Wednesday (September 27).

"People call me a lesbian a lot," the 21-year-old said on episode 35 of the Tipoff podcast. "They think I look like a female girl or a teenage girl or something. I understand—I'm a pretty dude. They might be mad that their wife likes me or something."

Oubre went on to admit that he's heard the label plenty of times before, but he knows who he is regardless of media criticism. "I'm a grown man. I've heard that [I'm a lesbian] multiple times," he revealed in the discussion. "I guess it's something to try to get under my skin, but at the end of the day I know who I am."
