When images first emerged of the windows at Mandalay Bay where gunman Stephen Paddock shot from and took the lives of over 50 concertgoers in Las Vegas, people were surprised it was just one room because of how far apart the windows were. However, there are some very large suites at Mandalay Bay and here is an idea of what they look like.
There are virtual tours on the hotel's website, including this one of their Panoramic two bedroom queen suite, which as you can see has a wall of windows.
Meanwhile, a couple years ago, a visitor to the hotel took a video of his Bay Suite room from the 32nd floor:
There is no official word yet on the details of the room Paddock stayed in, other than that it was on the 32nd floor.
Meanwhile, Mandalay Bay tweeted out their thoughts and prayers for the victims of the tragedy.
Our thoughts & prayers are with the victims of last night's tragic events. We’re grateful for the immediate actions of our first responders. pic.twitter.com/Arf8edj1iZ
