Tyrese Slams Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson For 'Fast & Furious 9' Delay On IG

Tyrese sure can hold a grudge. Weeks ago, he publicly blasted The Rock for ignoring his phone calls and text messages. Now, the singer turned actor is slamming the former wrestler for the delay of Fast & Furious 9. 

Let's first explain how this all started... Last month, Ty continuously urged The Rock to hold off on working on his Fast & Furious spinoff called Hobbs. But, Dwayne Johnson completely ignored him. Unfortunately, that didn't go so well.

Tyrese commented under one of Johnson's IG posts: "If you move forward with that #Hobbs movie you will have purposely ignored the heart to heart moment we had in my sprinter -- I don't wanna hear from you until you remember what we talked about. I'm on your timeline cause you're not responding to my text messages -- #FastFamily is just that a family....... We don't fly solo." 

It looks like Johnson has zero worries about Ty's words because Fast & Furious 9's release date has been pushed back for his spinoff to premiere first. Naturally, Tyrese blasted The Rock on Instagram about this, yet again.

Ty captioned a photo that showed #F9: "#PSA Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU - And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post - Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right?"

Ty continued: "Nah..... it's about #TeamDewayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #BayWatch? Guys guys just relax I'm just a passionate film critic."
