Bobby Brown lost his legal battle to block the airing of TV One's biopic about his late daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
The New Edition singer initially attempted to stop the Bobbi Kristina movie from debuting because he claimed that the project showed him in a bad light and defamed his character, even though Bobby hasn't seen it yet or read the script.
According to the New York Post, Manhattan federal Judge Analisa Torres called the singer's claims “speculative.” She also disagreed with Bobby calling the movie defamatory because of scenes that show past violent acts that he's done because he's previously admitted that he's hit Bobbi Kristina's mother, Whitney Houston, during their marriage. Judge Ahalisa even read out a quote of Bobby's memoir, Every Little Step, in court to further explain this. “I turned around to her, drew back my hand, and smacked her (Houston) across the face,” she read.
The New York Post reports: "The 'My Prerogative' singer’s $2 million defamation lawsuit against TV One will still move forward, however, with the next conference scheduled for Nov. 13th."
