National Coming Out Day: Lin-Manuel Miranda, RuPaul & More Celebrate
October 11, 2017
It's National Coming Out Day and some of your favorite LGBTQ allies like Lin-Manuel Miranda, RuPaul and Ellen DeGeneres have come forth to celebrate the monumental occasion. After all, the holiday is devoted to raising awareness for the civil rights of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community.
"Coming out is one of the most courageous acts any LGBTQ person makes, and on this National Coming Out Day that courage remains essential to our continued progress toward full equality,” Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin said in a press release today. In honor of the milestone, iHeartRadio has compiled a list of some of our favorite celebrities and their reactions to the big occasion. Take a look below!

coming out is great, but do it on YOUR terms. #NationalComingOutDay is meant to encourage discussion, not put pressure on those not ready <3
