Update: Ben Affleck took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to apologize for his inappropriate behavior.

In light of the explosive sexual allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, Hilarie Burton, who was once a host on MTV's TRL and a castmember on One Tree Hill, claims that Ben Affleck groped her during an episode of the daily music countdown show.
It all started when Affleck revealed that he was "saddened and angered" by the claims against the Hollywood producer. When one Twitter user suggested that the actor should have "kept quiet," another user opened a can of worms, tweeting, "He also grabbed Hilarie Burton's breasts on TRL once. Everyone forgot though."
Burton came forth and responded to the tweet with a pretty overt remark. "I didn't forget," she said of the 2003 incident, to which the fan replied: "I'm so sorry that happened to you. It's infuriating that people never bring up all the gross, predatory things he's done."
"Seriously, thank you for that. I was a kid," Burton said of the incident, where she was just 19-years-old, before sharing a clip from an MTV documentary on TRL. In the snippet of the program, the then-host makes a presumable reference to Affleck. "He comes over and tweaks my left boob," she says. Back on Twitter, Burton said: "Girls. I'm so impressed with you brave ones. I had to laugh back then so I wouldn't cry. Sending love." See the conversation unfold below!
