Rick Ross Responds To Birdman Rant: 'Shut Up and Pay'

Birdman went on a lengthy, unhinged rant earlier today during a rare appearance on Instagram Live. On the stream, The Cash Money CEO responded to the claims that he was financially stifling his protege Lil Wayne and that he was the reason Wayne's Tha Carter V has been in album release purgatory. Baby subliminally aims many of his comments towards Rick Ross, who called for Birdman to pay Wayne on the diss track towards earlier this year "Idols Become Rivals." Ross, not one to waste any time, posted his own video where he told the Cash Money Mogul what he's been saying all along - pay your artists.

Ross opens the video talking about Wayne, saying, "boy, you a year late, and five years late paying that man his money,"  "Pay that man his money. We know you ain't right. Stop with the jokes, n***a. Bring that s**t. Bring it."

"Have no fear. All that talkin' s**t, nuh-uh, all that s**t don't work round here baby. We'll put you in check n***a, we'll put you somewhere else."

Ross stays on message as he concludes the video: "shut up and pay n***as."
