We Need One of Those Porgs in the ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Trailer

A new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi dropped earlier this week and while we’re excited for the film and everything we are especially dying over the creation of the Porg.
The adorable wide-eyed puffin-looking creature made its debut in the trailer for a quick second but won over Twitter.
The Porg is new to the Star Wars universe and, according to the geniuses behind the film, are native to the planet Ahch-to, where Rey found Luke at the end of The Force Awakens.
“Porgs are native to Ahch-To,” Lucasfilm story group’s Pablo Hidalgo explained. “In many ways, they’re the Star Wars version of puffins. They build nests. They can fly. Their babies are called porglets. You fall into those deep, soulful eyes. I think a lot of people are going to want a porg as a pet.”
THEIR BABIES ARE CALLED PORGLETS! We are dead.
