Ed Sheeran Sporting Cast After Bicycle Accident, Upcoming Shows In Jeopardy

Ed Sheeran posted a photo and brief message on Instagram Monday morning (Oct. 16) regarding his health and his ÷ Tour, and it doesn't look great at the moment.

The photo shows Sheeran's right arm in a cast and his left wrist in a sling with the caption, "I've had a bit of a bicycle accident and I'm currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news. Ed x"

Sheeran's next scheduled tour date is Oct. 22 in Taipei, followed by 14 more dates across Asia, through a Nov. 23 gig in Dubai. The singer was set to take a break from touring for a few months before starting up again in Australia in March 2018. 

A spokesperson for Sheeran could not be reached for comment at press time.
