No, A Human-Faced Cat Creature Has Not Been Found

The Internet was abuzz today with reports that a cat-like creature with a human head had been found in Malaysia, but authorities in the country have denied the existence of the animal, calling photos and a video of it "untrue."

Photos and a video of the fanged creature, which is furless but features coarse hair, started spreading earlier this week. The post claimed it was being held in a laboratory in an undisclosed location. 

Malaysian police said not only has nothing like the creature been seen anywhere in the country, but "checks revealed the images were downloaded from the Internet before it was shared on social media." They think it is a silicon baby werewolf toy.
