A 9-year-old boy was rewarded by a total stranger for his constant acts of charity. It all started when Eli'sha Davies heard a story that President Trump would be donating all but $1 of $400,000 a year salary to charity. According to WBIR, Davies wanted to make sure that the President could pay his bills, so he sent the President his $3 allowance. A few months later, the White House sent him a letter, along with a photo and his $3 back. The letter encouraged the young boy to use that money to do some good in his community.

Helping people is nothing new to Eli'sha. His parents said he has been trying to save up for a mandolin, but he has a hard time because he is always giving away his money to people who need it more.

After a story of his generosity was aired on WBIR, John Wildeman in Punta Gorda, Florida decided that he wanted to reward Eli'sha, so he sent him a mandolin of his own. Wildeman is the president of president of the Young Musicians Education Foundation Inc., a charity that helps kids who cannot afford to buy musical instruments. Wilderman told the news station that he was inspired by Eli'sha's generosity:

"$3 is a lot of money to a little kid, most kids," Wildeman said. "For him to sacrifice that and send that money to someone who he thought really needed it, that meant an awful lot to me."

A local Guitar Center also gave Eli'sha picks, strings, a tuner and a chord chart so he can practice at home.

Now that Eli'sha doesn't need to save up to buy a mandolin, he can continue to use his money to help others:

Well I just want to be a blessing to everyone
