Kelly Clarkson Performs 'Whole Lotta Woman' On 'Jimmy Fallon' (VIDEOS)

Kelly Clarkson and Jimmy Fallon revisited their first meeting and joked about how long they've known each other when the singer appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (Oct. 31). Their trip down memory lane began with Fallon pointing out, "We've known each other for a long time now."
"You're so lucky," Clarkson joked.
Fallon laughed and clarified that the two entertainers have known each other for 15 years, dating back Clarkson's first interview with former Tonight Show host Jay Leno when, ironically, Fallon was appearing as a guest along with Clarkson on the show he would eventually inherit.
"I thought, 'What is he on?'" Clarkson remembered. "Just kidding. No, I was like, because your energy matches mine." Fallon then pulled out a photo of the two of them as guests with Leno in 2002. "What am I dressed like an old-timey gangster?" Fallon asked. "What am I doing? Awful."
"And I wanted to be a skunk!" Clarkson added. "When my hair was very streaked."
After marveling at how each of their careers has taken off since that first meeting, Clarkson talked a bit about her new children's book, River Rose and the Magical Christmas, the second in a series named after Clarkson's daughter.
"She think it's her book," Clarkson said. "As in we went somewhere, and somebody had one, and she was like, 'Why do you have my book?' She's kind of mean about it."
Clarkson also dished a bit on how her just released eighth studio album, Meaning of Life, is the first she's made out of the contract she signed after winning American Idol, when she first realized she could sing and what drew her to become a coach on the next season of NBC's The Voice.
Before her Tonight Show appearance concluded, Clarkson performed "Whole Lotta Woman" off of Meaning of Life. Clarkson was backed by all-women back-up singers while shining in a shimmering top.
