Chris Christie's Wife Busted For Distracted Driving

The wife of New Jersey governor Chris Christie was busted for distracted driving during a recent crackdown on the dangerous practice. According to NJ.com, Mary Pat Christie was pulled over back in April for using her cell phone while driving her white 2016 Chevy Suburban. Police released the dashcam footage of the traffic stop by Bernardsville Police.

The first lady of New Jersey cooperated with the officer and did not attempt to use her position to get out of the ticket. She appeared in Warren Township municipal court in May where she pleaded guilty and paid a $250 fine. 

Chris Christie's spokesman Brian Murray called it "a non-story."
