"If you know someone who has lost a house, let me know," a Canadian man wrote on Facebook this week after stumbling upon a complete house in the middle of his property. 

His plea worked. Patrick Maze tells the CBC he was driving past a section of his property near Pilot Butte, Sask., on Oct. 26 when he noticed—it was hard not to notice—a gray dwelling on a trailer parked in the middle of a field Maze rents to a local farmer. 

"I assumed that it was just to be left overnight and they would come back right away," he says. But when the house remained days later, Maze turned to Facebook for help in tracking down its owner. "That's my house," Brenda Robertson responded after his post, which included several photos, was shared nearly 300 times, per Metro.
