Trash-pizza makers Papa John's were given the title of Donkey Of The Day for blaming their declining sales on the NFL protests. CEO and TV pitchman John Schnatter voiced his disgust for the protests and said it was the reason for their sagging sales.

“The NFL has hurt us,” Schnatter said. “We are disappointed the NFL and its leadership did not resolve this.”Of course, he doesn't bring up any of the racial injustices the players are protesting nor does he bring up the quality of their pizza is terrible or that their sauce, as the wise-man Plies describes, tastes like medicine.
