Sweet-16 Party Turns Deadly In Kenner

A Sweet 16 party turned deadly Saturday night in Kenner with a 17-year-old teen behind bars today for the killing of another teenager.

Kenner police say Renee Holloway (pictured) was arrested yesterday and charged with second-degree murder in the Saturday night shooting death of 18-year-old Jontrell Wells. Police say the gunfire erupted during an argument over a neighborhood rivalry.

Other suspects are being sought after multiple bullet casings were found at the scene that came from different caliber guns.
