As a woman in the entertainment business who worked closely with Harvey Weinstein for years, Sharon Osbourne is weighing in on the sex abuse scandal that has ruined the mogul's career.

Osbourne says Weinstein—who has been accused of harassment and assault by dozens of female public figures—never once acted inappropriately towards her.

She says the scandal prompted her to wonder, "What's wrong with me, Harvey?"

"But then you think about it, and you realize it's because of the type of woman you are," she continued in a recent Event magazine interview. "I've never faced any sexual abuse, but I think I've always given off a particular vibe that says: 'Don't mess with me.' If a man had ever tried, he would be dead. No question."

As numerous damning allegations against Weinstein surfaced last month, the entertainment executive was fired from the company he founded, banned from the Producers Guild of America and voted out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

He is also likely to be charged with rape in New York City, once he completes sex addiction rehab.

Weinstein has apologized for his behavior in the past but denied allegations of non-consensual sex.
