Study Finds That Starbucks Holiday Drinks Have an Absurd Amount of Sugar

I always look forward to the holidays and those festive drinks at Starbucks, but after reading a study in the New York Post today, I may be cutting back!

The study showed that a Starbucks grande Gingerbread Frappuccino with whipped cream contains 68.5g of sugar, equaling 6.8 chocolate doughnuts from McDonald’s. Sure, we don't have doughnuts at McDonald's around here, but anything equal to nearly seven doughnuts in sugar, is crazy!

A venti Eggnog Latte has 56.3g of sugar and a the Toffee Nut Coffee Frappuccino and Fudge Hot Chocolate drinks are close to that as well.

Experts advise that you take in less than 30g of sugar per day...
