Someone’s kid allegedly destroyed $1,300 worth of makeup at a Sephora in Georgia. Makeup artist and Sephora employee Brittney Nelson tweeted a photo of an array of Make Up Forever products looking like a demolished powder rainbow to her Facebook page along with the PSA for “Mammas" to “please shop for your makeup 💄 without your tiny humans.”
Nelson added in the post: “I’m sure he/she thought they were like finger paints and had no idea how naughty they were being. Tons of destroyed product and pissed Sephora cast members are a not a happy place to be. Mammas, please shop for your makeup 💄 without your tiny humans. It’s not fun for you...or them...or the expensive product.”
Her post has since gone viral with people on Twitter blasting the parent for being “careless and self-absorbed.”

Its one thing if your child makes a mess in the #salon, its another thing completely when I hear you say to your child "Its ok, they get paid to clean it up."

There is absolutely no excuse for this but bad and lazy parenting. I raised 2 boys and they were taught hands off the merchandise, even if they knocked an item to the floor accidentally they had to pick it up and place it back on the shelf. They still do that.

I have 3 small kids. Whenever I go anywhere with them, every two minutes (max!!) I’m doing a head count. That woman whose child ruined the Sephora display is careless & self-absorbed. It’s my job to make sure my kids aren’t destroying store property. Period.

I laughed when I read the headline: "A child reportedly destroyed over $1,000 of makeup at Sephora." Sorry, not sorry. Their makeup prices are outrageous. Also, to those who are mommy shaming: don't. Leaving kids at home so you can shop isn't always an option.
