Boat Strikes Barge Near Bayou Segnette

At least one person is dead and three others injured after the boat they were in crashed into a parked barge near Bayou Segnette in Jefferson Parish.

The accident happened around 4 a.m. Sunday.

The Coast Guard says the 22-foot boat the four were in, ran aground after slamming into the barge, ejecting one of those on board. No identities have been released.
