NYT Suspends Glenn Thrush After Women's Allegations

As far as political journalists go, Glenn Thrush is well known to the point that Bobby Moynihan has played him a number of times in Saturday Night Live skits. 

The New York Times White House correspondent is also the latest man to be hit with allegations of sexual misconduct, by way of a Vox exclusive. Laura McGann recounts the allegations put forth by a 23-year-old journalist who in June attended a colleague's going-away party; she says she and Thrush, 50, shared drinks, and that, as McGann puts it, "Thrush left her in tears after she resisted his advances." 

McGann writes that much the same thing happened to her five years ago, when the two worked at Politico. Toward the end of a reporters' bar night, he thrust a $20 bill at the other female colleague who remained in their booth, telling her it was cab fare and to leave the "grown-ups" alone.
