By Andrew Magnotta

November 22, 2017

The funeral for late AC/DC co-founder and rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young is scheduled for Tuesday, November 28.

The memorial will take place the same day as the ARIA Awards, the annual celebration of Australian music.

Young retired from AC/DC in 2014 and died last Saturday at age 64 after years suffering from dementia and other health problems.

With his brother Angus Young, Malcolm co-founded AC/DC in 1973. He is a credited songwriter on every original AC/DC song.
