Little Mix performed at the Manchester Arena on Wednesday night as one of the stops on their sold out tour. While it's always exciting for a passionate group like Little Mix to take the stage for their dedicated fans, there was also an undeniable sadness that had to be reckoned with during their set. Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirwall, and Jesy Nelson were performing at Manchester Arena exactly six months after a terror attack at the same venue after an Ariana Grande concert left 22 people and the bomber dead. The tragedy that struck Manchester, though, has not stopped those living there from carrying on with their lives and doing what they love to do. For some, that's going to concerts and seeing their favorite artists perform live.
Little Mix and their fans paid tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack during their gig. Fans held up signs that recognized those who lost their lives during Grande's concert. The organized efforts by fans was truly beautiful and moving. Their signs read "for our 22 angels. We miss you. We stand together." There were instructions for the signs to be held up during the song "Nothing Else Matters."
To mark 6 months since the Manchester Arena attack, Mixers have made signs for Little Mix's show tonight and handed them out around the arena remembering the 22 beautiful angels we lost that night, this is so beautiful👼 #GloryDaysTourManchester pic.twitter.com/3AjWeRiA0d

The fans' efforts did not go unrecognized by Little Mix. When they saw what their fans had done, they put the signs up on the big screens behind them as they performed. "Tonight was incredibly special," Little Mix wrote after the show. "Thank you to the incredible audience for organizing this and showing nothing but love in the arena tonight."

This was a truly special moment for those present at the show, but for everybody who was able to hear about it afterwards. These Mixers showed that love truly conquers hate and that music helps heal all wounds.
