Drake Tried His Hand As a Sideline Reporter for the NBA's Toronto Raptors

Drake’s a beast of hip-hip. He’s no slouch at acting either. Now he’s gone total ball-hog with a stint as a sideline reporter for his hometown Toronto Raptors. It wasn’t his slickest performance.

Drizzy looked chilled as he sat on the sidelines and shared his thoughts on the game for the fans back home as the Raptors took on (and beat) the Charlotte Hornets at Air Canada Center. The rapper also stepped up for an on-air chat with the Raptors' all-star guard Kyle Lowry, who dropped a season-high 36 points in his team’s 126-113 win.

Drake had a nervy start as he nearly flubbed Lowry's stats-line then made a rookie mistake of pulling the mic from the baller as he was in his flow. Drake is the Raptors' global ambassador and the franchise’s No. 1 fan, but he’ll need to go study the tape on this one. Watch for yourself below.
