( Cincinnati, OH ) - As the busy holiday shipping season hits it's stride, UPS has announced it is still looking to hire more than 500 people in the Cincinnati area.

The openings are a combination of seasonal and permanent jobs, and the greatest number of openings is for driver-helpers.

“Our seasonal jobs often lead to permanent employment and even careers for some,” said CEO David Abney. “We offer flexible shifts and full- and part-time positions. If you are a student, a working mom or just looking to make extra money for the holidays, we have a job for you.”

Pay for driver helpers starts at $15.00 an hour and $10.25 for package handlers. Both positions can also qualify for up to $100 in weekly bonuses.

UPS continues to hire at the following four local locations:

·       Cincinnati Hub - 500 W Gest St, Cincinnati, OH

·       Sharonville Hub - 11141 Canal Rd, Sharonville, OH

·       Kentuckyview Center - 7875 Foundation Drive Florence, KY

·       Richwood Hub - 55 Transport Dr., Walton, KY
