Hunter Hayes Creates Sneaker Design For Charity
December 4, 2017
Hunter Hayes is working with online clothing retailer Zappos to raise money for charitable causes.
The "Rescue Collection" includes two specially designed Superga sneakers. Each purchase comes with a signed copy of Hunter's handwritten lyric sheet.
The net proceeds will go to the North Shore Animal League of America. Some of the shoes will be auctioned off to raise money for music education programs through the CMA Foundation.
Hunter says, “I am a firm believer in the power music has to help people and it’s been incredibly uplifting to see how many people ‘Rescue’ has reached. The launch of the shoe collection furthers our mission and I am excited to see the positive impact.”
The initiative stems from his song "Rescue."
The Rescue Collection is NOW available on @Zappos! 100% of the profits from these limited edition @SupergaUSA shoes will benefit the @AnimalLeague. These shoes were designed by my buddy David Garibaldi and I; inspired by the paintings in the #Rescue video. https://t.co/52S0ruFS8n pic.twitter.com/HCgnFb270w
