Tyrese Blasts Ex-Wife: 'I Only Married You To Keep You In The Country'

In a recent radio interview, Tyrese revealed something that could potentially land him in prison. According to the recording artist/actor, he only married his ex-wife, Norma, to keep her in the country.

As we all know, Ty and Norma have been in the middle of a very messy, very bitter legal dispute concerning their 10-year-old daughter, Shayla. Norma previously filed a court order that requested Ty's custody be taken away after he spanked their kid. After weeks of one stressful court appearance after the next, the case was eventually dropped and Tyrese was reunited with his baby.

Now, the star is breaking his silence about his ex and their messy relationship. "We had an angel, but I married you to keep you in the country," Tyrese blasted his British ex. "I never married you because we were happily married. You're from London. I married you because we had a baby on the way and I had to do whatever I had to do so I'm not traveling all the way to London just to spend quality time with my baby."

He continued: "So, now you're running around painting this picture, like we was [singing 'Here Comes the Bride']. We got married and there was like seven people there."

After this reveal, Ty also went on Instagram to further speak about putting his ex on blast, during his interview. See his IG video post below.
