The man wanted for a shooting outside the Cincinnati sports bar owned by 98 Degrees members and brothers Nick and Drew Lachey turned himself in to police on Thursday night (Dec. 7). According to the Cincinnati EnquirerLavoris Hightower, 36, has been indicted on charges including attempted murder and felonious assault in the shooting that left Lachey's Bar manager Elle Richardson, 27, with severe injuries after she was shot in the face in the incident.

The shooting took place early Thanksgiving morning when Richardson left the bar with several co-workers and a friend around 3:20 a.m. when she was almost hit by a van driven by Hightower as she was walking to her car, according to prosecutors. After Richardson approached the van and got into an argument with Hightower, prosecutors said he fired on shot, striking her in the face. Richardson has been undergoing treatment at the University of Cincinnati since the shooting and was released on Thursday.

Hightower faces 25 years in prison on the charges, though his attorney, Clyde Bennett III, said police -- who reviewed surveillance video and interviewed eyewitnesses as part of their investigation -- have the wrong man.

The Lacheys and their 98 Degrees bandmates will host a benefit concert for Richardson in Cincinnati on Dec. 15.
