Gary the Dog Had Heartwarming Response to The Last Jedi

Even in a galaxy far, far away, Gary knows his owner, HuffPost reports. An ABC 7 reporter tweets that the French bulldog who was inseparable from Carrie Fisher prior to her death attended a screening of her final film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, on Thursday. "He sat on Fisher’s former assistant’s lap during the film," Veronica Miracle tweets. 

"She said his ears perked up every time she was on screen." No word if Gary also perked up at his own secret cameo. Director Rian Johnson recently confirmed to eagle-eyed fans that Gary does indeed appear in disguise as an alien in the background of one scene. Gary now lives with Fisher's former personal assistant, Corby McCoin.
