Tillerson: Pressure Growing on North Korea

24/7 News Source — Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says international pressure on North Korea is growing.

"We simply cannot continue to accept the progress of North Korea's [nuclear weapons] program," Tillerson said. "We will maintain the pressure campaign and, in fact, undertake efforts to increase the pressure campaign."

At the UN yesterday, Tillerson said the U.S. will continue to pursue a diplomatic solution for now.

He added that the North knows "where the door is."  

He warned that North Korea may not be able to sustain its economy if it continues its nuclear weapons program, referring to growing international sanctions.
