Trump Talks With John McCain's Wife Regarding Senator's Hospitalization

24/7 News Source — President Trump is touching base with Arizona Senator John McCain's family about the Senator's health.  

The White House said the President called McCain's wife Cindy Friday afternoon to check on the Senator's condition.  

The veteran lawmaker returned to the hospital this week as he continues to battle brain cancer, which was first diagnosed in July. 

Senator McCain's office released a statement saying he is receiving treatment at the Walter Reed Medical Center for side effects of his cancer therapy and looks forward to returning to work as soon as possible.
