Mueller Is Democrats’ ‘Best Hope’ for a Trump Impeachment – Will He Be Fired?

What’s going on?
Rumors are flying that say President Donald Trump is considering firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating the Trump administration’s alleged collusion with Russia. Trump’s allies have reportedly warned him not to interfere with the investigation, and the president has denied the rumor.
What else should I know?
Mueller recently removed FBI agent Peter Strzok from the investigation after text messages between him and another agent were revealed that showed their bias against Trump.

Glenn’s take:
All Democrats want for Christmas is for Trump to be impeached through any available means.
“Democrats have never been so concerned about the rule of law,” Glenn noted sarcastically. Former Attorney General Eric Holder weighed in on the rumors and tried to speak on behalf of “the vast majority of Americans,” but Glenn doesn’t think Holder can exactly speak for that majority.
