Halsey Injures Her Foot After Telling Fifth Harmony To 'Break A Leg'

Halsey took the Y100's Jingle Ball stage by storm on Sunday (December 18), but the pop star ended up injuring her foot after the set. Coincidentally, it also happened after she told Fifth Harmony to "break a leg" during the star-studded show at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

Shortly after the set, the 23-year-old New Jersey native told her 7.88 million Twitter followers that the well-wishes had an ironic consequence. "Mood is me saying 'break a leg' to @FifthHarmony last night and then being in the hospital getting a foot x Ray 35 minutes later," she tweeted. When one fan suggested that she simply walk it off, Halsey had a funny rebuttal, writing, "I'm not sure u can 'walk off' a broken foot" with the laughing with tears emojis. 

Halsey sported a black cast on her right foot the following day when she joined her boyfriend G-Eazy for a collaborative performance of "Him & I" on Tuesday's broadcast of Good Morning America. As you might expect, the usually energetic singer remained mostly in place for the number, but we're wishing the star a speedy recovery.
